Hand in hand Let’s connect!

“A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people.”- Franklin D. Roosevelt

Solutions to Environmental Problems (STEP) courses bring together students, faculty, staff and community partners in discussion and action to advance sustainability. STEP courses educate students about environmental problems through an interdisciplinary approach and foster leadership values, skills and abilities by engaging students in collective, solution-oriented project.green-earth

As a student and as a member of this country, i will encourage the youth to help with me build and create an organization about the “Helping Hand” for the environment. I’ll maximize my effort to explain to them the alarming situation of our environment. I’ll spread some flyers that tells what should we do to prevent the different kinds of problems. And as we go on in protecting our environment, we can achieve the goal to polish the wound of our environment. But then, let’s take first move by our own self because we already know what is right or wrong. Students who also belong to the group of environmental organization should also move and let the people know what is the plan for it. Nevertheless, our instinct will rightly choose the decision to help our environment. Let’s minimize the use of plastics, cans, cutting trees without replacing it, deforestation, throwing garbage in rivers and burning chemicals. Let’s try to use it properly and know what is the cause and effect to this in our environment. And of course, let’s be responsible for our decisions before going to act.
